Features Of The Weider Pro
Below, I am going to tell you all of the features and workouts you can do with this workout machine.
First off, the Weider Pro has a built in smith machine. This is great for doing nice controlled movements for squatting, bench pressing and even deadlifting.
The smith machine basically makes it so that the bar won’t tip to the side when you’re doing exercises that involve using a bar.
For example, when you normally bench press, you may feel the bar moving to the side. With the built in smith machine, you don’t have to worry about the because it keeps the bar locked into the rack.
What’s also great about having a smith machine is that you don’t have to worry about the weights falling on you. Whenever you feel like you can’t do anymore reps and the bar is pressed up against you while you’re doing a bench press, all you have to do is rotate the bar and it will lock into the machine.
Another great thing I like about this machine is that it has built in butterfly arms.
But what are the butterfly arms?
The butterfly arms is a machine that works your chest muscles. It uses the same motion as you would for doing chest flies on a bench. I personally like this a lot more than doing flies on a bench, because when you start using heavier weights, it seems to take a bit of a toll on my shoulders.
With the butterfly arms though, you are sitting upright, and can have a nice smooth motion because it allows you to do the movement perfectly straight.
This is an exercise that people generally feel their chest working more than the bench press, so it’s a great addition.
Multigrip Pull-up Station
This is a great thing to have for a work out machine.
Pull-ups are one of the most important exercises we can do for building a strong and balanced body.
With the Multigrip, you can do pull-ups using all different angles. It allows you to put your hands in different positions so that you can target other areas of your back.
You can rotate your wrists so that your palms are facing down to target your mid back and lats more. You can even rotate your wrists inwards so that your palms are facing up. This will target the biceps more, and lower lats.
You can use the grips in any way you want, it just comes down to whatever makes you the most comfortable.
The Weider Pro comes with two high swivel pulleys, in which you can do a variety of exercises with.
It also comes with a lat bar, a triceps rope, and two handles. You can attach all of these to the pulleys.
The lat bar is great for doing lat pull-downs. The lat pull-down is a great exercise for the back that focuses on the lats, but still uses various other muscles of the back.
The triceps rope is great for doing tricep pulldowns; this will really build your triceps big and strong!
The other two handles can be used for many exercises. They can be used for chest flies, rows, and whatever exercise you can think of.
There is also a third pulley that is lower down so that you can target your muscles at different angles, and do different exercises.
The machine comes with a 4-post squat rack. This squat rack has adjustable bar holds so that you can have the best squatting experience, by being able to customize your workout.
Squatting is very important, and is also a huge plus being added to this machine.
Squat racks alone are sold for 500-1000 dollars, but this machine comes with one added to it; this makes it even more worth it.

The Weider Pro also comes with an adjustable bench. It can be adjusted to incline, decline, flat and military.
This is great because now you can do more exercises than just using the flat bench for bench press.
With the incline bench, you can do incline presses, as well as back exercises that involve you having your chest touching the bench.
With the decline press, you can do decline presses, and also do abdominal exercises. There is even a little attachment built in at the end of the bench that can keep your legs locked in for when you are doing abdominal exercises.
For the military bench, you can do military presses, shoulder presses, seated curls, and many more exercises.
The adjustable bench is definitely a huge plus to have on this machine.
Another great thing about this machine is that it has a built in curl yoke at the front of the bench.
Curl yokes make it easy to train your biceps because the arm rest allows you to keep your arms more straight.
This is great because the more your biceps are facing upwards, the better you are going to target your biceps and get that nice bicep peak that everyone wants.
All you have to do is add your weights to the front of the machine, and you can start doing curls.
There are some other minor benefits that this machine has included with it.
The first thing is that it has an integrated weight storage and utility bench. This is great for keeping the plates and everything all organized.
It has adjustable safety tiers to help you have a more safe workout.
It also comes with an exercise chart, so that you can have some effective exercises that you can learn right away once you get the machine.

No Plates Included
There are only a few disadvantages I see with the Weider Pro.
The first one is that this machine does not come with any weight plates; this is common though for most workout machines to not have.
But not to worry, you don’t need weight plates for every exercise here. You can still get a great workout in with what the machine has by itself!

Another small disadvantage which isn’t even a huge problem is that it comes with no wheels to easily move the machine around.
Just be sure to assemble this machine where you really want it, other wise you will have to take it apart again if you want to move it into another room.
It’s pretty common for these machines not to have wheels anyways, so again, not a huge problem.
Overall, this is a great machine that has tons of features that will help you achieve your fitness goals.
